Here are some of the challenges that can be healed through the holistic approach.

Depression

From an energy healing perspective, depression is often associated with a depletion or deficiency of vital energy within the chakra system. Interestingly, the word "depression" originates from the Latin word "deprimere", meaning "to press down" or "to lower"—a fitting reflection of the energetic and emotional state experienced by individuals who are depressed.
When a person is in a depressive state, they often feel energetically low—depleted of chi, prana, or life force. In energy healing, the practitioner works to address the root causes of this imbalance while simultaneously revitalizing the client’s energy body with fresh, vital energy. This process can lead to a noticeable and often transformative shift in the individual's emotional and energetic state.
Depression is a complex condition, and in some cases, it may stem from a part of oneself being unacknolwledged, unexpressed, or denied. Depression also speaks of a deeper disconnection from one’s authentic self or higher purpose. This disconnect can result in a loss of meaning, joy, and fulfillment. Therefore, within the energy healing framework, the healer may also guide the client through a psycho-spiritual process to help them reconnect with a sense of inner purpose and rediscover meaning in their life.

Stress and Anxiety

Energy healing modalities are often among the most effective approaches for managing and healing stress and anxiety.
Energy healing techniques often induce deep states of rest, similar to meditation. This switches off the fight-or-flight (stress) response and activates the parasympathetic system — the body’s natural state for rest, digestion, and healing.
As a result, breathing slows, heart rate regulates, and feelings of safety return.

Grief & Loss

Grief and loss are seen as heavy, dense energies that can settle within the energy body, particularly in areas related to emotions.
Energy healing practices aim to restore the natural flow of energy and gradually release blockages caused by unprocessed or unacknowledged grief.
By helping individuals fully recognize and engage with their grief, these practices support a process of healing — enabling them to reconnect with life and regain a renewed sense of purpose.
In addition, for a grieving person who has lost a loved one, energy healing can help shift their perspective on death and dying at an existential or spiritual level.
It can support them in understanding the concept of life’s continuation bey

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

Trauma is the natural response we have to very difficult or overwhelming experiences. It can leave us feeling shaken, fearful, or disconnected, and sometimes these feelings soften over time—especially when the right support and care are provided.
However, when the impact of trauma lingers for more than a month and it starts to interfere with daily life, the person may be experiencing Post-traumatic stress disorder, or PTSD.
Someone with PTSD may keep reliving the experience through flashbacks or nightmares, feel constantly on edge, or avoid situations that remind them of what happened.
“In short, PTSD can continue to affect how we feel, think, and live, disrupting our daily life in painful ways.” Trauma is often addressed in relation to its impact on the mind and emotions, or somatically on the body. Yet many integrative therapists also recognize a subtle, inner dimension—sometimes called the soul or higher self.
From this perspective, trauma can disturb not only thoughts and physical responses but also the flow of our life energy and sense of purpose.
Energy-based and spiritually informed psychotherapy can help by working with both the psychological patterns and the energetic imprints left by trauma.
Practices such as guided imagery, mindful presence, or chakra-focused energy work release blockages, calm an overstimulated system, and restore depleted areas, allowing the body and spirit to shift into a state of deep relaxation where natural healing can occur.
This process helps a person feel more grounded, present, and reconnected to themselves, complementing traditional therapy in a gentle yet profound way.

Insomnia

From an energy healing perspective, insomnia is often the result of imbalances within specific chakras. To support healing, the practitioner works to restore harmony in the chakra system while also addressing the underlying psychological causes contributing to the insomnia.

Chronic Physical pain

Whether the cause of your chronic pain is medically identified or not, energy healing can offer meaningful support and relief. Energy healing helps with chronic physical pain by addressing not just the physical symptoms, but also the energetic,
emotional, and psychological roots of pain. Long-term pain rewires the brain’s pain pathways — even if the original injury has healed. Energy healing can interrupt these chronic pain circuits by shifting the body into a state of coherence and balance.
This helps retrain the nervous system to no longer identify with pain as the default state.

Burnout

Energy healing can help heal burnout by restoring balance to the body’s natural energy flow, which can become disrupted due to various psychological, physiological, energetic and environmental factors.
These can include old unresolved trauma causing the individual to live in a constant stance of hyper-vigilance, and in fight or flight mode.
Burnout can also be caused by being exposed to draining or exploitative working conditions, living in unjust traumatic or unsafe socio- political contexts, abusive relationships, and generally unsafe living conditions.
By engaging the energy body and realigning the body's energy, energy healing supports the nervous system, reduces the tension and stress help in the body, releasing blockages and frozenness, and helps reenergise the individual by restoring physical and mental vitality, and providing a pathway for deep recovery from burnout.

Medically unexplained symptoms

Medically unexplained physical symptoms (MUPS) refer to real physical complaints, that persist without a clear medical diagnosis or lab result to explain them.
These symptoms often have a deep mind-body-energy connection, and energy healing offers a holistic approach that goes beyond physical pathology.

The body has an energy field (sometimes called the biofield or aura) that holds imprints of emotions, trauma, and stress. When that energy becomes blocked, stagnant, or fragmented, it can manifest as physical dysfunction — even when medical tests are “normal.” Energy healing helps clear and realign this energetic system, often restoring balance and easing unexplained symptoms.

Panic Attacks

Energy healing helps heal panic attacks by addressing the energetic, emotional, and nervous system imbalances that fuel the cycle of fear, hyperarousal, and overwhelm.
While panic attacks feel sudden and physical, they are often rooted in deeper emotional patterns and dysregulated energy — something energy healing is uniquely equipped to shift.

Sadness/Haplessness/loss of meaning

In life, it is natural to experience periods of sadness, hopelessness, and a loss of meaning. Although it may not seem like it at the time, these phases often carry deeper significance and are meant to lead us toward greater self-discovery and realization.
If you feel stuck, without hope, and disconnected from your sense of direction, energy healing can help you reconnect with a deeper sense of reality and inner truth—guiding you toward renewed purpose .

Anger Management

Energy healing helps with healing anger by addressing its root causes, clearing its energetic residue, and restoring the natural flow of energy through the body. Anger is not just an emotion — it's also a powerful energy that, when unprocessed, can become stuck in the body and distort our inner balance.
Anger is often a secondary emotion, masking deeper feelings like hurt, betrayal, abandonment, or fear.
Energy healing doesn’t suppress anger — it helps you understand, feel, and transform it. It clears the charge from your body, softens your emotional reactivity, and opens space for calm, empowered action instead of rage or guilt.

Postpartum Healing

The birth of a child profoundly impacts every area of a parent’s life. During this major transition, parents often need support and guidance to navigate the changes that follow. Both women and men can experience a wide range of challenges.
Postpartum changes are not limited to mothers; fathers can also undergo significant psychological and even physiological shifts after the arrival of a child. For example, research shows that postpartum depression, traditionally associated with women, can affect men just as frequently. This highlights the importance of acknowledging that both mothers and fathers benefit greatly from receiving the right kind of support during the postpartum period.
For women, healing after birth involves restoring the tremendous energy expended during labor, whether through a natural delivery or a C-section.
Recovery is both physical and psychological. Many mothers may have experienced a traumatic birth, may struggle with hormonal fluctuations that affect mood, or may face postpartum depression.
Beyond these well-known factors, the profound shift in identity—suddenly becoming a parent—can feel startling or even destabilizing, as long-held roles and a previous sense of self give way to something entirely new.
In addition, the very moment of separation from the fetus at birth, while natural, can be experienced by some as a cataclysmic rupture, bringing unexpected waves of grief or disorientation.

Physical complications can also arise during recovery, while the adjustment to a completely new routine and the responsibilities of parenthood bring additional challenges for both parents. Here, too, a spiritually aware therapeutic approach can be meaningful.
Alongside medical and psychological care, gentle energy healing and mindful practices can help replenish strength, soothe the nervous system, and nurture a sense of wholeness.
By attending to body, mind, and spirit together, parents often find it easier to feel grounded, balanced, and connected as they step into their new role, making the journey into parenthood smoother and more joyful.

How it works

You can book a session with the practitioner of your choice listed above. Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email at your registered email address. Please also check your spam or junk folder, as emails sometimes land there.

All sessions are conducted via the Zoom app. After your booking is confirmed, you will receive an email containing your Zoom link.

At the beginning of the session, you will have the opportunity to briefly share any physical or psychological challenges you are experiencing. After this initial discussion, the healer will begin the energy healing process.

Above, you can find a list of some of the challenges that can be supported and addressed through energy healing.

Heal the holistic way

Holistic healing methods can be applied to address both physical and psychological ailments. Energy healing is a practice that has been utilized by humanity since ancient times. It is based on the concept of the human body’s energy field — a subtle life force that supports and sustains physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

This life force is often referred to as "chi," "prana," "qi," or simply "life energy." When this energy is balanced and flows freely, an individual is considered to be in a state of health. Conversely, blockages, imbalances, or disruptions in this flow can contribute to physical or psychological challenges. Energy healing practices aim to restore balance and promote overall well-being.

In contrast to talk therapy, which primarily involves verbal communication between therapist and client, energy healing typically requires minimal verbal exchange. The healing process is largely conducted in silence, as the practitioner works directly with the client’s energy body.

(Please note that energy healing is not a replacement for medical or psychological treatment. Rather, it is intended to complement and support traditional forms of care.)
